Where it all began, how it evolved and where we are heading.
How it all began.
As two mechanical engineering technicians, we realized that local Wind Turbine Asset Managers and their Turbine Technicians often experienced challenges whilst performing maintenance on their turbines and lacked the necessary support to solve some of the more involved problems.
Efficient engineering and technical support as well as accurate planning was needed to reduce the downtime when servicing their turbines. It was on this principle that Okara Energy was founded and we have been answering this call ever since, providing quality Engineering and Technical solutions in Sub Saharan Africa as well as to our patrons abroad.
We have proven to be a dynamic partner to our valued clients through the winds of change, adapting to their needs and special requests. This gave rise to our technical service division that brings a broader range of technologies and solutions to our clients in the fields of Wind Turbine Maintenance and Blade Services. Combined we have expanded to seven major divisions to extend the health and life cycle of our clients Wind Turbine Fleets and to keep their uptime to a maximum.
